The crimson sunset of the the legendary city of Zanarkand descended upon the ruins...lighting the place with a orange glow. The pyre flies then started to fly about....their otehrly-world touch could be seen for miles as they flew all around the dead city. The ruins of the staduim of blitzball could be seen......most, if not all of the pyre flies where around it as it was the place where the most people died. Anyway, the glorious sunet illuminated the dead area.....and if you look at it from the path from Gagazet, you could see a figure moving among the ruins of the dead.
Auroth moved about the ruins, his cold purple eyes inspecting the remains of a building as he walked around it. Soon enough after he was finished he quietly jumped to the top of the remains....looking down on it with mild interests...It seemed the denizens of the other world had less machine prowness then The Planet had.....but that all changed a while back. Even if all these events took place 250 years ago...Auroth was still concerned as to the true purpose of why this happened....and the fact that Auroth could somehow feel that there was a growing darkness in the horizon. Of sure, Soul Night and Kurai Tenshi were casuing havoc all around...and yet there was more to this...there has to be more to there attacks and the fact that our world and theirs linked together to form eternal.
Anyway, tired from thinking so much, he began to inspect the Zanarkand ruins a new....After all, Zanarkand was said to be a very important place in the otherworld....perhaps the anceints placed the mechaism that linked The Plant and Otherworld together here.....He soon enough walked around the dead ruins again...his cold purple eyes watching everything as pyre flies went about him as flies do to a corpse.....

Another shadow could be seen as it approached the ruins. One staring off from the ruins would most likely see the dark shadow of this individual approaching slowly in a constant pace. One would not be able to see her visual expression and such because of the orange glow of the sun reflecting, but one can definitely tell it's a female by the young girl's curves.
The figure continued her way as she finally arrived. Stopping right in front of the huge set of ruins, she looked slightly upwards, the young girls's cold, dull red eyes piercing at the figure standing ontop. Chiyuki kept her emotionless gaze on the young man as she said nothing, and did nothing else. Somewhat studying him, she stood there still. Finally, after a few seconds, she looked away, not really caring, and entered the remains of the ruins, going through the opening which barely has space.
She didn't quite care who else was here, neither did she care why he was here like she is. Whether it be the same purpose or not, it did not matter. She just continued wandering deeper and deeper into the ruins, her cold and emotionless gaze kept up ahead the whole time.
The reason why she came here was because of her two mysterious swords. She still does not know much, and had always wished to know more. Plus, she's a wanderer, a lone wanderer, so it's only natural for her to appear in many different places, even without a reason. She had thought that the old Zanarkand Ruins would be a good place, but being in here, made her think about this world. This fused world. She wasn't there to witness, nor experienced it, but she was curious as to how it happened. QUite an interesting history topic really, but of course, it would be hard to find answers now, not when it's been 250 years already.
At any rate, Chiyuki just continued walking slowly, yet quietly, into the ruins. Her sense up, alert and cautious as always, but never showing it.

Suddenly, from the shadows of the ruins, Auroth quickly and quietly walked from the shadows nearby....his face bearing a semi-arrogant smile as he closed his eyes and slowly approached the girl in front of him. Before, he had noticed a figure watching him...thanks to his mirror blades which reflected her image into Auroth's eyes. As soon as he discovered her presence....Auroth quietly was trailing her all this time.....as he was observing the ruins for any traces of the Ancients. Eventualley though, he thought enough was enough and walked out of the shadows....to greet and possibly befriend this newcomer.
Auroth took a small step forard, his face completely clam and relax...why even his hands were arrogantly in his pockets...possibly because he didn't fear a attack from the girl infront of him. Anyway, he slowly breathed in his body with a rather relaxed manner as he slowly opened his Amethyest eyes...staring right into the ruby orbs of the girl's infront of him. he slowly observed her....silently scanning her with his eyes....her chest first.....Anyway, he then just smiled at her....ratehr arrogantly to boot...seeing as how he thought he could beat her in a fight. Anyways, he just began to take a small step towards her.....his hands still rested in his pockets.
Suddenly then the wind blew across the ruins.....rather odd considering that they were after all inside a ruin. But Auroth ignored this...but yet was still keen on keeping his senses up for attacks from a enemy. But still arrogantly he kept his hands in his pockets....bearing still that half cocky smile. The wind also blew his blonde hair all around....pushing it back before it eventually just returned to it's usual position......which was again rather odd...
"What brings you here" He said with a rather arrogant tone, yet still polite "This isn't a place for Children to wander now....Regardless...I am Auroth...."

Chiyuki could feel the presence of another inside these ruins with her. Possibly the one whom she had noticed before, but either way, it didn't quite bother her. She didn't care, neither did she have the need to anyway.
She looked forward still as the figure finally revealed himself, revealing a young gentleman. Chiyuki said nothing at first as she just watched him, studying him carefully, and came to a full stop. As the gentle breeze blew by, Chiyuki's long silverish white hair flowed along naturally, and finally, returned back to its original position, hanging behind her back. She had to admit, it was quite strange that there's a sudden breeze here in these ruins, but she didn't think about it much.
Anyway, she listened to his words, and finally, atfer a few brief seconds of silence, she parted her lips slightly to speak out in a low, quiet voice, almost monotoned. It wasn't all that cold, but hints of it can be heard. Plus, her dull, emotionless eyes revealed nothing with the blank and somewhat cold gaze.
"That, is none of your concern." she answered slowly, yet clear and firm. Her face held no emotions, for she's expressionless at the moment, but well really, she's like that most of the time anyway. Then, she proceeded to continue walking again, nearing him as seconds passed. She would pass him, and continue wandering deeper into these ruins. There was no reason for her befriend anyone, neither did she believe that her past and nature would allow her to.

"Is that so?" Auroth said with a rather arrogant tone and polite smile. "What makes you so not want to get to know me? I'm not a bad person....And it would be useful to have someone acompany a child such as yourself". He then turned his head a bit to the side, his arrogant smile still there as he felt the wind brush against his face again....Pushing his hair back...it was odd.....Seeing as how two times a wind has past them. This cannot be merely just a hole...not this deep into the ruins. Anyway, Auroth just turned back to the girl infront of him....his face still bearing a arrogant smile as his hands slowly came up from his pocket. "She is rather interesting that one is....perhaps i should countinue to observe her for the time being" Auroth thought as he took a slow step past her.
Soon enough he stopped and turned to face the girl, his hands seemingly resting in the air as the wind blew again...but this time it was chily and cold..... Also, the wind revealed his cocky face and calm aura as his hair was brushed forward. " I believe we have a uninvited guest girl" He said as he slowly turned his head back.....still bearing that arrogant smile.
Behind them stood a monsterious figure, floating in the air and howling madly. The creature seemed to be a ice and wind demon of some sort....using the winds and ice as attacks a such. Obviously the wind blowing by came from this creature.....making Auroth assume it was rather powerful. He then observed it..... Noting how it looked rather naked, except ice was it's entire body and at it's head was what appeared to be a frozen fire with two opal eyes staring at the two. It's limbs were also iced as well..and at the end was a huge ice claw with a small hole in the palm...for most likely pushing air. Auroth himself could take on the creature...but getting help is always apprecaited.
He quickly then drew his blades out.....his hands, which loooked like they were relaxing in the air, were actually on the hilt of the blade.....His blades were two finely crafted mirror blades or so Auroth said. They could easily reflect images to make the blades themselves look invisible. Further more, the hilt of the blade is also mirrored making it even harder to see his swords. And thanks to the dark lighting, this served to help conceal his blades....Anyway, he quickly assumed his usual stance...which was arrogantly just keeping his hands down.
"Say girl" Auroth said with that same arrogant grin "Will you help me?"

Chiyuki was mentally getting annoyed at this individual, for he kept calling her "child" and "girl". Sure she is a girl, but the way he said it, it was just plain irritating. She was annoyed, but didn't quite feel the irritated emotion. She just doesn't quite know how to feel anything anymore really. Anyway, she just shoved the thought away as she kept her eyes on this person.
"Accompany?" she repeated, her voice low and quiet, monotoned. She paused for a brief second, then continued. "I don't need anyone." she finished, then looked away slightly, now glancing into the darkness of the ruins ahead of her. She could make out a slight movement from inside, and her eyes narrowed slightly, but barely as she heard what the person said next.
Hmm ... irritating fiend ....
Chiyuki was of course not one who enjoys fighting without a reason, for she had changed from since she was a child, but with someone here blocking her way and being a nuisance, what other ways does she have anyway? She wasn't doing it to help this individual though. Plus, seeing his weapons, the shiny mirror blades, she could tell he wasn't weak. He himself could probably take care of this creature anyway. She will be doing this, for herself.
She said nothing to answer Auroth, and seemingly did nothing to pull out her weapons which were wrapped safely, held securely behind her back. Because of the elemental powers of Ice emitting from the creature, Chiyuki could feel her blue blade, Mizuyoru, start to glow a light calming blue, though one would not be able to see it through the dark and safe wrap around it. One might be able to sense it though, but not many would have the ability to do so. Mainly only ones with Ice or Water magic can actually.
At any rate, she kept her cold gaze on the creature now as she stayed in her position, not exactly moving, watching the creatures every move. She was prepared. She would move, when it does.

Standing atop of a massive ruined tower, a ragged soul looked down on the two possible combatants. His yellow teeth cracked together as he chewed on a hardened piece of flesh. Revan watched the two mortals circling each other and nodded. The female it seemed might be able to sense ice or water magic, from the look of her blades. Revan calculated he was just far enough to avoid being detected but just to be sure he never thought about using his ice magic. Instead a new idea came to him. He slowly gathered the lighting and thunder magic he knew and slowly begin to manipulate the weather, making a thunder storm circle in and crash. He stood then and let out a mournful howl, sending the sound echoing off the many broken rocks and collapsed buildings… Let them play their hands now…

Auroth quickly rushed at the dmon, his hands located behind his back...most likely holding his blades. From the corners of his eyes he noticed that there was a figure standing above them.....reflected from his mirror blade. Anyway, he quickly rushed at the beast, drawing his blade up and sending a slash at it's throat...trying to kill it in one swoop. His face though still remained the same....nearing that arrogant smile as he attacked the demon....
But it qucikly rasied it;'s arm and shot a blast of wind at Auroth...pushing him back as he reared his sword out. Quickly moving again he rushed at the creature, slicing it in the arm and casueing it to bleed some water....obviously since it was ice....water must be it's blood.....Anyway, the creature just looked at Auroth and fired a Ice spell at him. casually Auroth raised his blade up...making it face the ice spell coming at him. Then, with a sure rush of skill or luck, he deflected the spell....sending it right back at the demon. The creature howled in pain as it got hit.....and then looked at the girl......and then shot a blast of Wind at her.....

Chiyuki watched as Auroth rushed forward, while she herself stayed in her spot, unmoving. She watched the creature's moves carefully, studying his reflexes, habits, and everything about it. That's what she does. She's a thief. One must be careful, and observant. Anyway, she had sense another here, somewhere, and she didn't bother looking though. Being able to sense it was enough evidence that the newcomer us somewhere around these ruins. She need not to know who, neither did she care to know. It didn't matter to her, neither would it bother her.
She could now hear the sky growling angrily as a thunder storm now made its entrance. It didn't quite seem natural. A spell maybe? She wasn't positive, but it didn't matter. She was used to different types of weathers anyway.
Chiyuki examined Auroth's moves too. Quick, with a magnificant weapon, and obviously, arrogant. Quite irritating in a way, but she shrugged the thought off, and watched as the creature howled in pain, then soon sent a wind spell right at her.
Chiyuki stayed calm, and her facial expression didn't change at all. In fact, she stayed in her position for a brief second, then quickly bending her legs, she used them to push herself away from the attack, leaping to the side, avoiding the wind hurled at her direction before. At the same time, her hands reached back as she grabbed the wrap, pulling it loose, and grasped her two blades. Each in each of her hands, she landed on the ground, then pushed herself forward with great agility, dashing straight towards the menacing creature.
Being a thief has her advantages. Being agile was no surprise, but then again, others wouldn't have known she was a thief, or better say, someone of the sort. Anyway, she advanced in quickly, then spinning her red blade, which is now glowing a fierce red due to Chiyuki's emotions of annoyance for this creature, she slashed at the creature right at its mid section at the side, and didn't even bother to watch as more clear shiny liquid seeped out.
She passed the creature then, and turning her body midway, she slid to a stop behind the creature, her blades glowing dangerously, each emitting a different aura.
Chiyuki's cold gaze landed on the creature once again, her eyes slightly narrowed, and watched it carefully, waiting for it's next move.

Just as thw creature then reared back, obviously in pain from the attack, the creature once again tried to attack Chiyuki with his wind blast, Auroth quickly struck...his blade shining with his arrogantly smile as he quickly sent the blast back. The creature nimbly avioded it, but soon Auroth strike with his blade....cutting it's head off with grace and a aura of arrogancy. Soon enough the beast died.....it's bloody now seeping into the dirt as it's liquad blood satrted to dissolve into the ground. Auroth merely smiled and just looked at the beast...his face completely calm and relax. "Good bye cursed Ancient....may you find peace in the lifestream" he said very articulated as he started to examine the pyre flies flying from the corpse. Of the two worlds, each one had a different story for when a person dies. One states that a person get's reabsorbed into the lifestream....and then their spirit energy is used to support life elsewhere. Where as in the Otherworld, a person becomes a soul floating...their spirit represented throug a pyre fly as they await to get sent to the far plane....
Among many things, this was what Auroth was observing here...to understand this worlds way of death and try to understand how get "Sent" sends a soul to the farplane. Anyway, the blue liquad blood on Auroth's blades dissappeared....seemingly into no where. Auroth then just placed both blades into his shirt as usual and just looked at the girl...bearing that Arrogant smile. "You have some skill i must admit Child" he said with a rather superior (And possibly irratating for Chiyuki) tone as he walked towards her.....though keeping a "Eye" on the man (If you call it that) above them. "But why won't you tell me your name? I am a friednly person after all". He then sent Chiyuki a smile...a arrogant one that is...

Chiyuki just stood there as she watched Auroth finish off the nuisance. She didn't quite mind him doing most of the work though. Saves her energy and time. Plus, what's done is done, she can move on once again into the ruins, even though she can be sure more of these similar creatures will be lurking inside. It didn't matter. She wasn't afraid or anything, but really, what can frighten her now anyway? After what's she's been through and where she grew up in, it's hard to be scared of anything really.
Anyway, she looked at Auroth as she kept her cold gaze on him, not saying a word until he finished. Finally, she turned around as she continued walking deeper into the ruins once more, but not before wrapping her swords up again, placing them back behind her back, carrying them. "Chiyuki. Neiro Chiyuki." she finally answered while walking away.
She didn't care if he decided to follow her or not really, and she didn't bother checking if he did so or not. It did not matter anyways to her. She paid no attention to the figure way up there as well, for it's none of her business, and if he or she wishes to reveal him or herself, then that individual would do so when the time is right.

The ragged figure atop of the collapsed tower was sitting against a broken window as he waved his hand through the air. The thunder crashing above the two people down there slowly died away… Revan nodded and this time used his ice magic. The temperature dropped sharply in the surrounding area, diving down to well below zero. Revan smiled a twisted grin. He manipulated the magic flowing through air. His yellow teeth were showing as snow started to fall. He enjoyed his knowledge of frost magic. The temperature finally stopped going down. It now rested at negative fifty degrees Celsius. At this temperature reaction time slows down and the body tires much more easily. But Revan had lived for over 200 years in worse temperatures and worse climates. This was nothing to him. This use of magic would not allow him to further use his ice magic but he had his thunder for use now. While the snow fell, Revan moved down the crushed rock and metal towards the people, the falling ice causing his outline to fade, and appear dull. His shape and size were concealed in the snow, as his light feet made slight crunches as he stepped.

Auroth quickly turned his head....noticing the figure had began to move and started to perhaps cast a spell. Quickly riasing his blades from their hidden position, he quickly cut through the rocks and metal....usuing his deadly grace from his time as a turk....The Legendary Turk, he was known around Shinra.....but those days are long over. Anyway, he slowly then reared his mirror blades up....looking at the snow as it fell from the sky and the intense coldness as it started to make way into his body. This, of course, was the work of magic.....it was far to obvious for it not to be. Slowly he brought his sword towards his body...and focus his energy into it. At first, the blade glowed with a silver light before disspearing...this happened two more times until eventually Auroth's body began to feel heat again.....Thank goodness he had those two with him..or he might've been in a rather horrib situation. Soon enough he turned to Chiyuki...looking at her red eyes with his light amythest ones as he bore a arrogant smile...
"Seems another uninvited guest has come out way" Auroth said with a amused smile "Perhaps we must do something to him......"

Chiyuki said nothing as she felt the temperature drop immensely, but she didn't quite care at first, for she was used to the cold, but as it continued dropping, she groaned mentally, annoyed, while never showing the expression. She didn't turn around though as Auroth spoke, though she did stop. Her back still facing Auroth, she glanced forward at the approaching outline of the figure.
How irritating ....
Her cold gaze focused on the individual, her eyes slightly narrowed, though barely. Her blue blade glowed a bright calming blue because of the elemental effects. She didn't pull it out though. Instead, she kept them wrapped behind her back. She could feel the chills from her blade as well, close to her back, but she didn't wince or anything. In fact, she just stayed in her spot and position, staring up ahead.
"Maybe." she answered, her tone of voice low like usual, but colder.
Slowly, she concentrated on her magic, casting a fire spell internally, spreading heat around her body, and around her externally as well, as if forming a heat barrier between the chills of the weather and herself. She personally liked the cold weather, the snow, the ice, but at this moment, she didn't quite have the time to appreciate and admire it.
At any rate, because of performing this magic spell, her red blade, Hiyoru started emitting fire magic and slight amount of heat from behind, warming the other blade up, balancing the temperature. Both blades glowed dangerously, as if they were ready for anything.

Lone exited the cave that connected Mt. Gagazet and Zanarkand. Lone has walked this path many times...after all, he has gone from Besaid to Zanarkand and back at least 50 Times now... Lone walked towards the edge of the cliff and looked down at the city of ruins. He peered over the side and into the city. Just as Lone looked over, a cool breeze swept across his body. In fact, it was way too cool...it was plain Freezing. Lone shook the thought of being cold...
come on Lone...this ain't nothin...
Lone turned away and followed the rocky path down into the city.
